Sources of finance
When it comes to raising finance there are several options:
- Spanish lenders
- Offshore lenders
- UK lenders
- Private banks/private lenders
Spanish Lenders are banks based in Spain – both mainland Spain and the Canary Islands who offer mortgage products to non-resident clients. We work with all of these banks to source you the best possible mortgage solution for your particular situation.
Offshore lenders are banks based mainly in Gibraltar as well as some international banks based in the UK offshore market. Many of these products are specialised and offer excellent mortgage options in specific circumstances such as multi-currency mortgages and mortgages for high-net worth clients
UK lenders can be used for equity release if you own your own home in the UK. This is dependent upon the equity available in your property. Another option in the UK is a secured loan whereby a loan is secured against your property. This is also known as a “second charge.” We can also find you the best unsecured loans on the market. These are loans upto £25,000 and can often bridge the lending gap should a client have insufficient funds.
Private banks and private lenders do exist! We work with several private banks in the UK who are interested in funding specific types of purchases, generally for high-net worth clients. If you are looking to borrow more than £1million then we have a variety of options which are not available to standard clients.
For all UK-based lending we use a brokerage service which is authorised and regulated by the FSA for your peace of mind.
